The last time the entire world suffered a world-wide pandemic, we were in the midst of a war, WW1 to be exact. It took roughly 3 years for the Spanish Flu to be defeated but they didn't have access to the resources, the technology and the manpower we have today in 2020. The number of cases might be increasing across the globe, but so it the number of willing physicians and healthcare professionals yearning to play a role in this fight.
For the past few weeks, IMGs (including FMGs and CSAs) have been openly voicing their concerns and willingness to roll up their sleeves and join the front-line workers in the fight against COVID-19. The world is now slowly but surely recognizing their voices and we're finally seeing policy changes that will allow IMGs to participate.
We have started to assemble a list of resources & relevant news articles that might help...
Since 2013, MedSckool Reviews has been on a mission to help educate, equip and empower physicians from across the world with the tools and resources to succeed in their quest to practicing medicine in Canada (and the US). As the news unfolds on a daily basis around COVID19, we'll be updating this page with relevant articles and links that might help our physicians, should they wish to participate in the fight against this viral pandemic.
