Medsckool Refund Policy

(last updated: DECEMBER 1, 2021

NEW: TO READ OUR REFUND POLICY RE: QE1 @HOME SELF STUDY PROGRAM, PLEASE SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF PAGE.

We've evolved over the years and adapted similar refund policies as other physician exam prep services to reflect the seriousness and dedication we put into our programs.

At MedSckool Reviews, we have worked very hard to build our program to ensure that physicians get the most out of their experiences when they are with us. Please remember, that we are a Crash-Course-style review centre - but one that is more comprehensive than any prep course out there! Our 5-STAR GOOGLE REVIEWS backs this up!  The countless testimonies on our website and on Google reviews that physicians have provided is a testament to our work ethic and dedication.

But we realize that our method of prep doesn't work for everyone! We want you to succeed! And we also offer subsequent discounts on our other reviews - just because we want you to do well, get matched and get licensed! Nonetheless, since our reviews are only vary in length, we expect full payments prior to classes starting. We also ensure that everything you need to know about our program is made available before you make the decision to attend. We are 100% about transparency in how we do business.

Our QE1 @Home Self-Study program is our answer to the hundreds of physicians around the world who have been asking us to help them prepare but can't physically attend our popular classes.

Our ZOOM Live Stream option allows physicians from around the world to tap into our review from the comfort of their homes while still leveraging our materials, our instructors, our strategies and ultimately a strong score on their relevant exams.

Remember, at MedSckool Reviews, we don't teach you medicine! In fact, you should already know your medicine by the time you come to us - the MD behind your name tells us that. However, what we do do is teach you the delivery and proper study method/strategies/concepts/technique (QE1, Step 1, TDM) and provide you with all the tips and tricks so you are fully prepared on Test Day!

That being said, you may feel that after joining our review - the MedSckool method isn't for you. Unfortunately we have put too much work and effort into our program and we're confident in our abilities.

For those who are bound to withdraw, we have a refund policy in place - but we are very protective about our reviews and our information. We hope you don't leave us before the classes start, halfway through, after the first day or days before the reviews start (when you've already received private and confidential documents via email). But if you are still adamant on leaving, then we can't stop you. Instead, we wish you all the best on your path to residency - but we do reserve the right to charge you for what you did take from us!

Refund schedule* **

Our refund policy | ABSOLUTELY NO REFUND.
Since we now send out preparatory materials and notes within 48 H after complete registration, we don't provide any refunds of any sort.  This is to accommodate the vast majority of students who wish to have early access to notes before classes commence.

If an exam or exam date is cancelled or postponed by the examination body, MedSckool Reviews will not provide any refunds (since notes/materials would've been sent to you well in advance).

Partial Payment | Refund Policy

If you chose to make your payments through instalments during the registration process, our refund policy differs. In an attempt to encourage early registrations to ensure our classes run and offer the flexibility to split the payment, we offer this service. When you choose to split the payment, you are officially enrolling in a review, reserving a paid spot that would have otherwise been available for another attendee. Should you then decide to cancel your attendance, this puts a strain on our operations. As a result, once the split payment is made, should you choose to withdraw, NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED.

Class Cancellation Policy

As with any course or review, there are numerous costs required to actually run a session. At MedSckool Reviews, we try to ensure we provide the best learning environment for our physicians. Over the years, we have found that the minimum number for this to occur has been 6 students, depending on the specific review. That being said, if we are not able to secure the minimum number of students at least 1 week minimum before the start date of any review, we will be forced to postpone the session to the next available cohort. There is a lot of work that goes into the preparation of each and every review at MedSckool and funds (e.g. operational budget) are allocated accordingly before each review; there are also other factors that we take into account when assuming the minimum number of registrations.

In the case of a review cancellation due to low registration, attendees who have registered will be deferred to the next available session. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED IN THIS CIRCUMSTANCE. This policy is strictly enforced.

COVID19-RELATED

As the world comes to terms with managing, defeating, and overcoming COVID19, the examination boards resumed licensing examination testing as of June, 2020. As a result, we resumed our classroom-based instructional reviews, operating at a reduced capacity to allow proper physical distancing and safety measures. No refunds will be issued if drastic decision have to be made under various circumstances. These decisions to cancel/postpone will be made solely on the basis of everyone's health and not business-related.

As part of our ongoing efforts to help medical students, international medical graduates and physicians prepare for their exams, while ensuring everyone's safety as well as our own, all attendees may be required to read and sign an informed consent release waiver before attending any in-class instructions.

CANCELLATION/POSTPONEMENT BEFORE THE START OF A REVIEW
If we have to cancel a course before the start of its scheduled dates, due to any reasons (including public health restrictions) attendees will be notified within 72 H. We understand that some attendees may have booked airfare, hotel accommodations etc. Unfortunately, this is something outside our control. It is your responsbility to speak with those respective parties to change your dates. Make-up dates will be provided within a reasonable time frame and attendees will be allowed to attend then. MedSckool Reviews reserves the right to decide when/how the make-up sessions will be offered.

CANCELLATION/POSTPONEMENT DURING A REVIEW
If we are forced to cancel/postpone a course mid-review, all attendees will be given the opportunity to come back for a future in-class session or through online instruction with dates/times set within a reasonable time frame based on the examination schedules laid out by the respective examination bodies. MedSckool Reviews reserves the right to decide when/how the make-up sessions will be offered.

Exam Cancellations/Postponement

In light of what's happening around the world with the COVID pandemic, the exam regulatory bodies have in the past and may in the future, cancel or postpone your scheduled exam. As we run our reviews to correspond with the official exam schedules, should this occur, we will hold your registration for a future exam once the new dates are released by the examining body. It is your responsibility to notify us about these changes. There is no refund in these circumstances.

@Home Self-Study Refund Policy

Our NEW QE1 @Home Self-Study program provides physicians access to our proprietary materials to help them prepare for their QE1 examination. The program is meant to provide the bare minimum content that is currently offered in our 13-day in-class instructional review with the emphasis that the individual physician use our materials to help them in a guided self-study approach. The Self-Study is not meant to replace our in-class live instruction but offer candidates an equal chance to learn and cover the necessary materials to help them do well on their own. Unlike our in-class live instructional reviews, the QE1 @Home Self-Study DOES NOT COME WITH ANY PASS GUARANTEE. It is solely up to the candidate to utilize the resources provided at their own discretion when preparing for their upcoming exam.

ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS AFTER REGISTRATION & PAYMENT IS MADE
Refunds will not be issued under any circumstances after registration and payment is made as all materials are printed-on-demand and mailed to the attendees home mailing address. If you have any questions regarding our Refund Policy, please get in touch with at info@medsckool.com
