CONGRATS TO EVERYONE!

It's great that MedSckool Reviews was able to provide all the safety measures. I think they went above and beyond what was actually required but I felt much more confident and reassured during the review. And at the end of the day, there's so much to learn in the class that you don't really notice these things. It's going to be a while until all this passes but we still need to get through our exams and with competitive scores to secure a residency in Canada. Some might see it as a minor inconvenience but the reality is that this is the new norm. Thanks for everything MedSckool.

So who teaches these live in-class & ZOOM live stream reviews?
It's a team effort. And the quarterback is Mark Mauleesan MD, MBA, a fellow Canadian (CSA), serial entrepreneur, board member of various non-profits, public speaker, and an Entrepreneur-In-Residence (lecturer/advisor) at the Ivey Business School in London ON, who holds an associate membership with the CFPC (College of Family Physicians of Canada). With his guidance & direction, the MedSckool Reviews teaching roster also consists of newly minted Family Docs, Canadian lawyers, current Canadian medical residents and graduates like yourself, who've recently written their boards and are awaiting their chance at #theCARMSMatch! Every class has a different mix of lecturers but they all follow the same #MedSckoolMethod!

'"I joined Medsckool at the last moment for my MCCQE1 exam in the spring of 2017 and it was the best thing I ever did. The review course was so detailed, comprehensive and very exam-oriented. With the guidance and the study roadmap that you receive, you don't need anything further. I wish I signed up for the course earlier than this. My results came back and I got a score of 497. I'm referring so many of my friends to take this course and I'm sure they won't regret it." Dr. Almahr, Saudi Arabia | Canadian Fellow, Pediatrics
"MedSckool Reviews made studying for the NAC-OSCE easy and enjoyable. Dr. Mark is a an amazing instructor. He provides personalized feedback and continues to provide you with guidance all the way up to test day and even after. The live review program was very structured and it prepared me well, so there were no surprises during the exam. I was quite confident in dealing with even the most difficult patients; being able to practice with different people throughout the entire day helped tremendously and you get to make great friends along the way.
I ultimately aced the NAC OSCE and matched to Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa! "

- Dr. A. Lopez, St. Matthews GRAND CAYMAN (CSA) |  PGY-1 Ottawa (2017)
"I took part in the Medsckool OSCE+mock live prep course and it was hands down the best decision I made! The course was structured, focused, and I felt confident walking into the exam. The teaching was phenomenal, and to top it off I met a great group of physician students – it honestly felt like more fun than work! I ended up matching back home, to my top choice, and I am absolutely delighted! The support from Medsckool Reviews definitely helped me get to my end goal and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see their dreams come true too!" - Dr. K. Martin, IRELAND (CSA) |  PGY-1 UofT (2017)
Thank you MedSckool Reviews and Dr. Mark for your help and support! I was so happy with my experience with the NAC OSCE course that I decided to take the QE1 course as well. Without these courses I am certain I would not have scored so highly and felt so well prepared. Dr. Mark provided so many invaluable tips and was always available to answer any questions even when the course was over. The NAC OSCE mock exams with real standardized patient actors were extremely helpful to get into the mindset required for exam day and I felt very comfortable with the strategies that were provided. With Dr. Mark’s insight, I was not thrown off by any unusual questions or scenarios. I am also very grateful for the help I received with documents and interview preparation. I would highly recommend MedSckool Reviews!
- Dr. Martin| Germany (PGY-1 Candidate)
"The MCCQE1 is a tricky exam, especially for IMGs. Because we didn't go to medical school in this country, we don't have the same access to the clinical and medical knowledge that's being tested. So when studying, cunning planning needs to be in place. Unfortunately, the council does not allow or provide too many offline OR online resources for IMG candidates. Additionally, the available Qbanks are vague and not designed to address what the test truly demands. For me, Medskool Reviews provided not only a brush up of the majority of the objectives being tested in a short span of time (which is both efficient and appreciated when you're studying in the midst of life's demands), but also a job-specific thought process which all candidates must possess. Medskool Reviews also brings IMGs from across the globe, both young and old, to a common platform, which truly adds to the richness of the learning. After the review is over, you can actually study at home much more efficiently and confidently. The team at MedSckool Reviews made me believe that the Canadian exams are not invincible - I passed my QE1 with an amazing score! I'm now looking forward to joining the OSCE live review with Medskool for my NAC exam!"

"How do you prepare for the NAC OSCE? My level of preparation for the NAC OSCE was much higher after taking MedSckool live review course. The constant practicing of various cases built up my confidence and created a routine, which was very helpful for the exam. Plus, learning all these strategic ways to utilize my time was a life saver! I would highly recommend this course to future test-takers of the NAC OSCE, especially CSAs (who are familiar with the USMLE Step 2 CS)"
- Dr. Steph| ROSS UNIVERSITY, (PGY-1 Family Medicine 2016)
"The EE/QE1 Live was truly great review!"
- Dr. B  | CARIBBEAN MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
"As a IMG, coming from another country, I didn't really know how to navigate the healthcare system. I found MedSckool on Google and after reading through their website and what others had to say, I signed up for their review. I was very impressed with the way the classes were conducted. There are many instructors involved in teaching us how to master the Canadian exams. I was preparing for the QE1 and learning from Canadian graduates and residents as well as others who had just passed their exams, which was very helpful. You learn so many strategies on how to pass the MCCQE1. I'm happy to report that I scored over 550 and it was all thanks to the team at MedSckool Reviews. I'm now preparing for my MCCQE2 with them." - Dr. H | Family Physician (Ontario)
"Tackling the Canadian licensing exams is such a huge hassle; there are no good books or question banks for these exams like the US exams. You are kind of just walking into the exams blind. That’s where MedSckool steps in – to fill in the many gaps about how to approach the exams.  After attending the course, I feel much more confident in going into my QE1 and I learned so much in regards of how to navigate through CDM cases. I highly recommend this course to anyone planning to write any of their Canadian exams. This is your future; you’re going to want to be prepared."

- Dr. N. | Tbilisi State Medical University
"Just wanted to say that I appreciated everything MedSckool Reviews did for me and the efforts did not go unnoticed! With such limited resources for us IMG's I feel this course really helped me gain insight into the things I should be focusing on to ace this exam. I can proudly say that the EE/QE1 live review course exceeded my expectations. I really thought all of the instructors brought something to the table and were extremely helpful. I hope to update you in the future with good news!"
- Dr. G. | ST. JAMES SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
"I came across Medsckool Reviews while searching for different preparatory courses for the MCCQE1 (LMCC Part 1). It was comparatively new so I was a little skeptical. I was writing my exam in 6 months time and wanted to take classes just before my exam but when I contacted Medsckool, I was advised to take classes earlier, well before my exam to make my study time more efficient and 'smart'. I wasn’t sure if it was a good idea at that time but it was the best decision I made. So I took the EE/QE1 classes. I got to know so much about the exam pattern and how to write the exam. They really helped us prepare for CDMs too. The team at Medsckool reviews GRILLED many key pointers about the QE1 into us (that will definitely help me write this exam). We went through every subject and topic and did over 1,000 questions and nearly 100 CDMs in 12 days. It was very intense. But after taking these classes, I’m so much more confident and it's clear in my mind how to write this exam. I will certainly recommend this course to everyone preparing for MCCQE1. It's better to invest in these classes rather than appearing in the exam again and again, for sure." - Dr. R. MD | Pakistan

Why we're #1

In-Class Live & Interactive Reviews

There's simply NO BETTER WAY TO LEARN than in the classroom. Period. Our success has always been in the quality of our reviews. That's why we consciously choose to keep our class sizes small (Max. 12 per cohort). And don't expect to sit and take notes during our reviews. Our motto is 'Interactive, Engaging & Exam-Oriented'

A Training & Learning Center with a Goal

MedSckool Reviews run all our classes out of our new state-of-the-art learning and training centre, fully equipped with multiple mock examination stations with beds, Welch Allyn Diagnostics and more. We teach through wireless technology on two massive 75" TV displays and use numerous medical anatomical models!

Canada-Specific Exam-Oriented Notes

Unlike the multitude of USMLE review materials, Canada doesn't really have specific review material for the boards...until now. At MedSckool Reviews, our students have access to our "MedSckool Notes" - sourced and verified by Canadian Medical Residents & recently trained family physicians and continually revised to ensure accuracy twice a year.

Comprehensive preparation for CaRMS

Writing your QE1 (LMCC Part 1) soon?
Wondering how to tackle CDMs?

The Clinical Decision Making skills (CDM) component of the MCCQE1 (LMCC Part 1) exam is a section of the exam that tests your ability to think logically, critically and wisely (among other things) when tackling various cases in the following disciplines:
Medicine, OB/GYN, Peds, Psych, Surgery, Population Health and Ethical, Legal and Organizational aspects of medicine... basically EVERYTHING!
What the CDMs essentially do is assesses your ability to recognize a specific condition in a specific patient and then order the specific investigations and/or prescribe the specific therapeutic measures! Our physicians consistently score well on the CDMs because they use our unique strategies on tackling the CDMs!

MedSckool Reviews offers the most detailed, hands-on, & intensive CDM workshop in Canada & it's part of our QE1 Live Review!

Furthermore, the NAC-OSCE is a joint initiative between the Centre for the Evaluation of Health Professionals Educated Abroad (Touchstone Institute) and the Medical Council of Canada and MedSckool.com takes no part in the actual selection, assessment or verification process. All material created for our reviews are written, source-verified and revised by our team of lecturers, practicing community physicians and recent medical graduates. Although we try to maintain accuracy, our notes are for educational purposes only, and is NOT intended as medical advice. While we strive for 100% accuracy, errors may occur, and medications or protocols do change over time. We work hard to respect the rules and security frameworks outlined by the Medical Council of Canada. For further information please inquire. All claims made on the website are from internal studies and various online search rankings.
